Anthony DeQuattro
Anthony DeQuattro is a Percussionist with the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra and is on the faculties of Quinnipiac University and Southern Connecticut State University. He has worked with such talents as Dave Brubeck, Joel Grey, Margaret Whiting, LeAnn Rimes, and Aretha Franklin, and has appeared at the legendary Newport Jazz Festival several times. He has traveled to and studied in Ghana, Bali, Taiwan, and Puerto Rico. In 2019, Anthony was sent to Kathmandu, Nepal as part of a U.S. Department of State-sponsored cultural exchange with the Mandala Theater. He is a contributing author to Cengage Publication’s Listening to Music, for which he penned chapters on the music of Brazil, India, Japan, and Mexico as well as a chapter on Jazz. He received his education from The Hartt School, Yale University, Boston University, and the public library.
